East
Yorkshire Riding Club is one of 400 Affiliated British Riding clubs
located throughout the UK. East Yorkshire Riding Club was formed
over 40 years ago in 1965 following the set up of the British Riding
Club movement by the British Horse Society in 1953.
Regular flatwork
and show jumping training sessions are held throughout the year
at Willerby Hill Competition Yard and during the summer at Beverley.
We also hold a range of clinics and demos, and members are encouraged
to broaden their knowledge of horse welfare and improve their equestrian
skills by studying for their British Riding Club exams. The club
holds its own competitions and if these are open to the general
public we offer our members a reduced entry fee. See our events
page for details of the EYRC Dressage Championship.
East Yorkshire
Riding Club is based as its name suggests, in the East Riding of
Yorkshire. British Riding Clubs divide the whole of the UK into
areas and East Yorkshire Riding Club
is in Area 4. Members compete at Area 4 competitions and if successful
get to represent the Area at National Riding Club Championships.
